Mercersburg

An Extraordinary Campus Tradition

client: Mercersburg Academy | published: 2011

In the fall of 1893, a college preparatory school set at the hem of Western Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains opened its doors as Mercersburg Academy. For over a century, Mercersburg, with its classic Gothic architecture ensconced in a 200-acre park-like campus, has established a legacy of academic excellence, colorful traditions, illustrious alumni, and storied athletic success. Mercersburg’s development office commissioned Grandin Hood to tell their history and continuing story in an elegant, slip-cased edition for use in alumni relations and ongoing endowment capital campaigns.

“From the beginning, Grandin Hood understood our school’s fundraising and donor recognition goals. Their creative team exhibited enthusiastic professionalism in producing a beautiful book, which perfectly supports these initiatives. We are excited to share this magnificent work with our alumni, parents, and friends.”
